Argos Add Two American Offensive Linemen

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today the club has signed American OL Norman Price and American OL Jatitus Allen.

Price, 25, spent the past two off-seasons with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers appearing in six preseason games over that time. The 6’4, 311-pounder was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by San Francisco in 2016, appearing in seven preseason games for the 49ers over two seasons, followed by a short stint with Jacksonville in October of 2017. The Vicksburg, Mississippi native played two seasons at The University of Southern Mississippi (2014-2015) starting all 14 games as a senior and six of nine as a Junior. Price came to USM from Hinds Community College (2012-2013) where he was First-Team All-Region 23 and All-State in his 2013 Sophomore year.

Allen, 23, played for the Memphis Express of the AAF in 2019. The 6’3, 300-pound lineman played two seasons at Tennessee State University (2016-2017) where he played in 20 games, suiting up 16 times at right guard and four at centre. The Georgia native began his collegiate career at Merced Community College in California where he played in every game for the Tigers in 2015.
