Argos add three on Day 7 of camp

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today the club has signed National DL Cam Walker, International OL Roubbens Joseph and International DL Jhaustin Thomas.

Walker, 26, is coming off a 2018 season in which he played 18 games for the Double Blue, tallying three defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles and one sack. The London, ON native, was drafted by Toronto in the third round, 21st overall in the 2015 CFL Draft. The former Guelph Gryphon has played 53 CFL games over four seasons and won a Grey Cup with Toronto in 2017.

Roubbens, 24, most recently spent time on the Washington Redskins practice roster when he was added in December of 2018. The Springfield, Massachusetts native played three preseason games for the Miami Dolphins in 2018 and four preseason games for the Baltimore Ravens in 2017. The 6’4, 325-pound lineman spent two seasons at Hudson Valley Community College (2013-2014) before finishing his college career at the University of Buffalo (2015-2016) where he started all 12 games for the Bulls in his senior season.

Thomas, 26, was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2017 and played four preseason games, starting one and totalling three tackles and a sack. Most recently the 6’5, 282-pound defensive lineman made practice roster stops in Denver, Oakland and Cleveland of the NFL. Thomas played two seasons at Iowa State (2015-2016) racking up 38 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, four sacks and one interception in 20 games played. Spent two seasons before Iowa State at Trinity Valley Community College.

The club also announced today INT DB Will Likely and INT WR Mario Alford have been released.
