Argos Add Pair of Defensive Backs

The Argonauts announced today that the club has signed international defensive backs Ri’shard Anderson and Winston Rose.

Anderson, a 5-11, 194-pound native of Miramar, Florida, spent parts of the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the Tennessee Titans, following a five-year college career at Syracuse. In 44 games for the Orange, Anderson tallied 101 defensive tackles, four tackles for a loss, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and seven pass knockdowns.

Rose, a 6-0, 174-pound native of Inglewood, California, played three seasons at New Mexico State after transferring from Los Angeles Valley college. In his three seasons with the Aggies, he registered 106 tackles, three tackles for a loss, five interceptions, 13 passes defended, one forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Rose spent the month of October on the Argonauts practice roster after attending training camp with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.
