VANCOUVER – Despite a tough loss in double overtime to the McMaster Marauders, Toronto Argonauts 2011 draft pick Julian Feoli Gudino shined in Friday night’s Vanier Cup game.

The speedy Laval wideout led his team in receiving, making 10 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown.

After McMaster jumped out to a shocking 23-0 lead in the game, Laval fought back in the contest, scoring early and often in the second half.

Feoil-Gudino tied the game at 31-31 with 2:13 left on a five-yard catch to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The agile pass-catcher was selected in the fifth round, 38th overall, by the Argonauts in last year’s CFL Canadian Draft and returned to Laval for his final season of eligibility.
