ARGONAUTS.CA STAFF

In the first installment of a new feature on Argos TV called Looking Back, we profile former Argos slotback and return specialist Jan Carinci who talks about his days as an Argonauts player as well as being part of a team that ended the longest Grey Cup drought in franchise history.

A Toronto native, Carinci played five seasons in Double Blue from 1981-1985.  After playing five more seasons with the B.C. Lions, Carinci still has fond memories of the 1983 Grey Cup game where he helped the Argos defeat the hometown Lions at B.C. Place.

He now lives and works in Moncton, N.B. and occasionally submits columns for the Moncton Times & Transcript.
