Amidst the sea of Green in Calgary this weekend, there was no doubt as to where the Double Blue contingent at Grey Cup was partying this weekend. Fans lined up for over an hour as the Wiser’s Double Blue Bash kicked off Saturday afternoon at the Unicorn Pub. The packed house was treated to appearances by current Argos S James Green, WR Brad Smith, OL Mark Dewit and WR Matt Lambros who were joined by Boatmen Alumni QB Damon Allen, LB Mike O’Shea, S Orlondo Steinauer and Argos Vice Chair Michael “Pinball” Clemons.
Hosted by the always entertaining DT Adriano Belli, the Wiser’s Double Blue Bash featured prizing and the opportunity for fans to take their picture with an Argos Cheerleader at the Wiserhood Photo Wall. Wiser’s also presented The Argos Foundation with $5,000 after successfully running a fundraiser at various LCBO stores in Toronto during the months of September and October.
