The Argos launched their 1950’s retro uniforms today in front of fans and media at the Vaughn Mills Mall Reebok Outlet Store.
The Boatmen will sport these new uniforms on two occasions this season. First, at home versus the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on “Retro Night” on September 12 and then on October 10 back in Winnipeg.
Among those on hand to help launch the new gear were current Argos WR Arland Bruce lll and QB Kerry Joseph and former 1950’s alumni Bud Fowler, Zeke O’Connor, Arnie Stocks and Nick Volpe. Also in attendance was CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon, Argos CEO Michael “Pinball” Clemons, Argos COO Brad Watters and former Winnipeg Blue Bomber great Kahari Jones.
