WILL FIELDS – Co-Defensive Coordinator and Secondary Coach

Fields is back for a third season in Toronto, but with an expanded role. He and Kevin Eiben will be co-defensive coordinators, while Fields will also act as the defensive secondary coach.

The former defensive back played for six seasons with Calgary and Winnipeg before entering the coaching ranks.

He was a member of the Calgary Stampeders when they won the Grey Cup in 2001 before adding another Grey Cup ring in 2022 with the Argos.

A native of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he began coaching at Cypress Christian High School in Houston, Texas before returning to Canada to coach at Simon Fraser University in 2014. He then made his way back to the CFL with coaching stops in B.C., Montreal and Edmonton.

Fields coached in the XFL as the secondary coach with the Tampa Vipers.

He is a graduate of the University of Houston.
