College: Attended James Madison University (2016-19). Played 51 games. Recorded 137 tackles, 47.5 tackles for loss, 27.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. In his senior season he totaled 28 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks. In a 2019 game against Villanova, he had 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. Named AP Second team All-American, First Team All-CAA as a senior. Named team defensive MVP.

Personal: Attended Dr. Henry Wise Jr. High School. Named First Team All-State. Set a school record with 28 sacks as a senior.
