Argonauts add WR Posey to practice roster

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has signed international receiver Devier Posey to the practice roster.

Posey, a 6-2, 210-pound native of Cincinnati, Ohio, was selected by the Houston Texans in the third round (68th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. The Ohio State product played in 26 regular season games and two playoff games in three seasons with the Texans before being traded to the New York Jets. He most recently spent training camp with the Denver Broncos.

In four seasons at Ohio State, Posey played in 41 games, tallying 1,955 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns on 136 career receptions as a member of the Buckeyes.

The Argonauts also announced Tuesday that the team has released international running back Henry Josey.
