WILL FIELDS – Secondary Coach, Quality Control

Fields is back for a second season in Toronto.

The former defensive back played for six seasons with Calgary and Winnipeg before entering the coaching ranks.

He was a member of the Calgary Stampeders when they won the Grey Cup in 2001 before adding another Grey Cup ring last season with the Argos.

A native of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he began coaching at Cypress Christian High School in Houston, Texas before returning to Canada to coach at Simon Fraser University in 2014. He then returned to the CFL with coaching stops in B.C. Lions, Montreal and Edmonton.

Fields coached in the XFL as the secondary coach with the Tampa Vipers.

He is a graduate of the University of Houston.
