Stephen McAdoo – Offensive Line Coach
“Coach Mac” is back.
The long-time CFL coach returns to Toronto, where he spent four seasons as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator. He was a part of the Argos coaching staff that won the 100th Grey Cup in 2012.
A native of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, MaAdoo’s first exposure to the CFL came in 1994 when he was an offensive lineman for two seasons with the Shreveport Pirates after spending a year with the Cleveland Browns.
He’d enter the coaching ranks with his alma mater, Middle Tennessee State, as their tight ends coach, before moving to Tennessee Tech to coach the offensive line and tight ends.
McAdoo would return to the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes in 2003 as their offensive line and running backs coach, adding the title of co-offensive coordinator two seasons later.
In 2010 he’d join the Argos as the o-line coach and run game coordinator. After four seasons with the Double Blue he’d head west to Edmonton to become the offensive coordinator, then two seasons later he became the OC and assistant head coach with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
McAdoo has won two Grey Cups, in 2012 with Toronto and 2015 with Edmonton.
