Acquired: Acquired from Saskatchewan Roughriders on July 31, 2019 for a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2020 CFL Draft.

2018: Played in 14 games for Saskatchewan. Passed for 2,999 yards and nine touchdowns. Threw for 394 yards in a game against Montreal on September 30. Acquired from Hamilton on January 3 for a second-round pick in the 2018 CFL Draft.

2017: Played in nine games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Passed for 1,767 yards and eight touchdowns. His season-high was a 361-yard effort against B.C. on July 15.

2016: Played in 10 games with Hamilton. Passed for 2,938 yards with 18 TDs against eight interceptions. Had a 439-yard day against Calgary on August 28. Playoffs: Was 20/31, 236 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT in East Semi-Final loss to Edmonton.

2015: Played in 12 games for Hamilton. Passed for 3,376 yards and a career-high 25 touchdowns. Threw for an even 400 yards against Toronto on September 7. Suffered a season-ending knee injury on September 19 in a game against Edmonton. Led the CFL in passing yards, touchdowns and quarterback efficiency at the time of his injury.

2014: Played in 13 games for Hamilton. Passed for 3,261 yards and 15 TDs. Threw for 367 yards against B.C. on October 4. Released by Toronto Argonauts January 29. Signed as a free agent with Hamilton January 30. Playoffs: Finished 18/27, 199 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT in a 40-24 win over Montreal in East Final. 102nd Grey Cup: Was 25/33, 342 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT in 20-16 loss to Calgary.

2013: Played in 14 games with Toronto Argonauts. Passed for 2,316 yards with 16 TDs and 6 INTs. Argos were forced to play four straight roads games (Montreal, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Edmonton) and won all four with Collaros at the helm, averaging 34 points per game in that stretch. Threw for 336 yards and three TDs in the win at Montreal that started the streak. In the game at Calgary he passed for 330 yards and four TDs. Playoffs: Backed up Ricky Ray in 36-24 loss to Hamilton in the East Final. Had two rushes for 3 yards and a touchdown.

2012: Played in four games with Toronto. Completed seven passes for 101 yards and a touchdown. His first CFL TD pass was a 13-yarder to Sammy Tranks in a 43-40 win over Hamilton in Toronto on November 1. Signed as a free agent June 5. Playoffs: Did not play in wins over Edmonton and Montreal. 100th Grey Cup: Did not play in 35-22 win over Calgary.

College: Played 41 games for the University of Cincinnati (2007-11). Redshirted as a freshman. Started four games as a sophomore, winning all of them. Was the starter for his junior and senior seasons. Named unanimous First Team All-Big East as a junior, Second Team as a senior.

Personal: Born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. Was 41-1 as a starting QB at Steubenville High School. Won the state championship in his junior and senior seasons. Ohio’s Division III player of the year in 2006.
