Playoffs: Recorded no statistics in Eastern Semi-Final win over Ottawa. Played 4^th quarter of Eastern Final win in Montreal after an injury to Chad Kelly and completed 5 of 8 passes for 73 yards. 111^th Grey Cup: Started for injured Kelly. Completed 26 of 37 passes (70.3%) for 252 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Carried the ball 2 times for 11 yards. Named Grey Cup Most Valuable Player.

2023:  Played 18 games with Ottawa Redblacks. Completed 47 of 78 passes (61.5%) for 461 yards, with 0 touchdowns against 4 interceptions. Carried the ball 3 times for 15 yards.

2022: Traded to Ottawa by Edmonton Elks July 11 in exchange for a fourth-round selection in the 2024 CFL Draft. Combined, he played 17 games. Completed 291 of 423 passes (68.8%) with 6 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

2021: Signed with Toronto February 1. Played 11 games with Toronto. Completed 96 of 153 passes (62.8%) with 5 touchdown passes against 6 interceptions. Traded to Edmonton Elks by Toronto on October 26 for the playing rights to Chad Kelly and a conditional pick that was used to select Deionte Knight 10^th overall in the 2022 CFL Draft. 

2020: Traded by Calgary Stampeders to Ottawa Redblacks January 3 in exchange for a third-round selection in the 2020 CFL Draft, and a swap of first-round picks, giving Calgary the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft, Ottawa received the No. 6 pick. No season.

2019: Played 18 games with Calgary. Started 7 games for the injured Bo Levi Mitchell. Completed 174 of 238 passes (73.1%) for 2,103 yards, with 11 TDs against 5 interceptions. Rushed 27 times for 76 yards and 4 TDs. Playoffs: Had 3 carries for 8 yards in West Final Semi-Final loss to Winnipeg.

2018: Signed with Calgary May 7. Played 18 games. Completed 17 of 25 passes (68.0%) for 144 yards and one touchdown. Rushed 35 times for 73 yards and five TDs. Completed his first CFL pass, a 3-yard completion to Reggie Begelton June 23 at Toronto. Scored his first CFL TD that same game on a 1-yard run. Playoffs: Had 1 carry for 4 yards in West Final win over Winnipeg. 106^th Grey Cup: Had 3 carries for 4 yards in win over Ottawa.

2017: Released by Calgary May 1.

2016: Signed with Calgary August 27.

College: Attended Georgia State University (2014-15). Played 25 games. GSU’s all-time leading passer with 7,651 yards in just two seasons. First Team All-Sun Belt as a senior, setting conference record with 4,368 passing yards, while also setting school records with 307 completions and 28 TD passes. Set the team record with a 471 passing yard effort against Texas State…Attended Pierce Junior College in Los Angeles (2012-13), throwing for nearly 7,000 yards in two seasons. In his freshman season he threw 40 TD passes and for 3,774 yards.

Personal: Attended St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura, California. Played tight end in his senior year after being named the backup QB.
