College: Attended East Carolina University (2016-19). Played 40 games. Recorded 67 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. Had 11 sacks and 16 tackles for loss in his senior season. Named Second Team All-AAC. Had 5 pass knockdowns as a junior.

Personal: Attended South Central High School. Credited with over 230 tackles, 40 tackles for loss, and 25 sacks during his career. Recorded 101 tackles, 12 sacks and 14 TFL as a senior. Named Second Team All-State by USA Today.
