2019: Signed with Hamilton Tiger-Cats February 19. Played 18 games. Recorded 80 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, and one interception. Playoffs: Had four tackles and an interception in East Final win over Edmonton. 107th Grey Cup: Had four tackles in 33-12 loss to Winnipeg.

2018: Played 17 games with Toronto Argonauts. Recorded 63 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles.

2017: Signed with Toronto Argonauts May 23. Made CFL debut June 25 against Hamilton. Scored a touchdown August 19 against Montreal on a 22-yard fumble recovery. His first two CFL sacks came against Jeremiah Masoli, the second of which came in overtime, September 30 at Hamilton. His first CFL interception came against Michael Reilly October 14 at Edmonton. Finished season with 31 defensive tackles, 13 special teams tackles, three sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble. Playoffs: Had two special teams tackles in East Final win over Saskatchewan. 105th Grey Cup: Had one defensive tackle and one special teams tackle in 27-24 win over Calgary in Ottawa.

2016: Signed with Cleveland Browns March 11, waived September 3.

2015: Played 15 games with Houston Texans. Recorded 17 tackles. Playoffs: Recorded no stats in AFC Wild Card loss to Kansas City.

2014: Played 16 games. Recorded 36 tackles and one interception. His first NFL interception came October 9 off Andrew Luck against Indianapolis.

2013: Signed with Houston as an undrafted free agent May 10. Made NFL debut September 10 at San Diego. Played 15 games. Recorded 14 tackles.

College: Attended Kansas State University (2011-12). Moved from linebacker from quarterback and played every game at that position as a senior. Had a sack that resulted in a fumble and a defensive touchdown against Oklahoma…Attended Blinn College (2010). Played quarterback. Threw for 2,015 yards and 17 touchdowns, while rushing for 733 yards and 12 TDs. Named All-League in the SWJCFC.…Attended Boston College (2009). Played quarterback. Started three games. Threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns.

Personal: Attended Northview High School, north of Atlanta. Named Greater Atlanta All-Area quarterback as a senior. Set most of the school’s passing records. His career stats included 3,675 passing yards with 1,300 rushing yards and 44 TDs. His father Jessie played in five Pro Bowls as a linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
