Played both sides of the ball at Booker T. Washington High School where he was coached by his father and USA Today National Coach of the Year, Tim Harris. Finished his junior and senior years with 64 receptions for 1,077 yards and 18 touchdowns as a receiver, and 90 tackles, nine sacks and nine interceptions as a defensive back. Also played quarterback in key scenarios, completing 18-of-27 passes for 480 yards and four touchdowns. Led Booker T. Washington to a No. 6 national ranking in a senior year in which he was recognized as Florida Class 6A-4A Male Athlete of the Year while also receiving several national honours. Played in the first-ever Under Armour All-Star game after being named an EA Sports and PrepStar All-American as well as Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year.
