Cory McDiarmid – Special Teams Coordinator

McDiarmid goes into his 27th year of Coaching football. His first year of Coaching in the CFL was in 1999.

McDiarmid returns to Toronto for the first time since 2002 to take over as the Argos Special Teams Coordinator.

He worked for the Double Blue in 2002 as the team’s Defensive Line/ Linebackers Coach that season.

McDiarmid has Coached across the CFL and in U Sports during his career with CFL stops in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Calgary, Edmonton and B.C.

He has also worked with UOttawa Gee-Gee’s as Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach, and with the UBC Thunderbirds.

McDiarmid has won the Grey Cup twice in four trips to the Championship game. He also worked with the UBC Thunderbirds during their Vanier Cup year in 1997.

Most recently he was the Special Teams Coordinator in Edmonton, working with Coach Dave Jackson, who he reunites with in Toronto.
