Director, Football Administration

Catherine begins her first season with the Toronto Argonauts as Director of Football Administration. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the Double Blue as she reunites with former Montreal Alouettes General Manager, Jim Popp. Raîche became the first woman to be named Assistant General Manager of a CFL team in 30 years, when she was promoted to the position with the Alouettes in early 2017.

The Montreal native originally wanted to work in law as she completed a law degree at the University of Sherbrooke followed by a Master’s degree in tax. After practicing law for the Quebec Bar Association for three years, she decided to follow her passion towards football in 2015. Raîche began her football career as an intern for her hometown Montreal Alouettes and by December of 2015 was named Coordinator of Football Administration for the team. Just over a year later, in January of 2017, she was named Assistant GM of the Alouettes, becoming the first woman since Jo-Anne Polak was named GM of the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1989, to be promoted to an Assistant GM role.
