Carey Bailey – Defensive Line Coach

Bailey makes his Canadian debut with substantial experience gained in the NCAA.

The former Head Coach at Howard University, Bailey has coached the defensive line at Richmond, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Lamar, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, Middle Tennessee State, Louisville-Lafayette and VMI.

While coaching in the NCAA, Bailey spent time in the off-season as an intern dealing with linebackers with both the Atlanta Falcons and the New York Giants. That was a part of the Bill Walsh Fellowship Program.

Bailey played his high-school football at Morgantown High School in West Virginia where he was an All-American defensive tackle. He played four years at Tennessee, winning the SEC Championship twice and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He played in four major Bowl games.
