CFL and ESPN unveil 2017 US broadcast schedule

Three Argos home games to be shown on ESPN2, remainder on ESPN3

On Tuesday afternoon, the CFL and ESPN announced the league’s 2017 broadcast schedule on the American sports network through August 2017.

Based on a multi-year agreement with the CFL, ESPN television networks and ESPN3 have the exclusive rights to present all regular season and postseason CFL games in the United States.

ESPN will broadcast 13 games to television channels in 2017, including three Toronto Argonauts games, and will show the remainder of the schedule on ESPN3. The ESPN television networks will show the following three Argos games:

  • Week 1 vs. Hamilton | Sunday, June 25 | 4:00 p.m. ET
  • Week 2 vs. BC | Friday, June 30 | 7:00 p.m. ET
  • Week 5 vs. Ottawa | Monday, July 24 | 7:30 p.m. ET

The following games will be available to view on ESPN3, ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices through the ESPN App:

  • Week 3 at Ottawa | Saturday, July 8 | 7:00 p.m. ET
  • Week 4 at Winnipeg | Thursday, July 13 | 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Week 6 at Saskatchewan | Saturday, July 29 | 6:30 p.m. ET
  • Week 7 vs. Calgary | Thursday, August 3 | 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Week 8 at Montreal | Friday, August 11 | 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Week 9 vs. Montreal | Saturday, August 19 | 4:00 p.m. ET
  • Week 10 at Calgary | Saturday, August 26 | 9:00 p.m. ET
