Argos sign Canadian OL Samuel Narkaj

Narkaj to move to offensive line with Double Blue

TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the club has signed Canadian offensive lineman Samuel Narkaj.

Narkaj, a 6-0, 298-pound, native of Shkoder, Albania, played 29 games in four seasons at Concordia University, registering 78 tackles (46 solo, 32 assisted), 20 tackles for a loss, 11 sacks, one forced fumble and one interception with the Stingers. He was ranked second in the RSEQ in sacks (6) and tackles for a loss (10) while notching 27 tackles (19 solo, 8 assisted) and a forced fumble in 2016. The 2015 RSEQ All-Star and first-team CIS All-Canadian will be converted to the offensive line with the Argonauts.

Narkaj will take the field this morning for the Argonauts second day of rookie camp which has been moved indoors to the Ontario Soccer Centre (7601 Martin Grove Rd. Woodbridge, ON., L4L 9E4).
