Pinball gets call to the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame

The Toronto Argonauts Football Club are proud to congratulate Michael “Pinball” Clemons on the announcement that he is being inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

The All-Time Argonaut will be officially inducted on November 1st in Toronto alongside Annie Perrault, Bryan Trottier, Colleen Jones, Dr. Frank Hayden, Stephanie Dixon and Sue Holloway.

“There is no one more deserving to receive this honour than Michael “Pinball” Clemons,” said Toronto Argonauts President and CEO Michael Copeland. “Forever grateful for the opportunity this country has provided him, Pinball has used sports for a greater purpose. His countless hours of leadership, mentorship and coaching of our youth far exceeds what this country has given him. We are proud that he is a Toronto Argonaut.”

Clemons, who is also a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, enjoyed a 12-year career (1989-2000) with the Argonauts winning three Grey Cup Championship as a player. He led the Argonauts to a Grey Cup Championship in 2004 as a head coach. ​
