The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has signed international defensive lineman Bryan Hall.

“Bryan is a veteran player who brings high energy to not only our defensive line but our defence as a whole,” said Argonauts GM Jim Barker.

“We’re looking forward to having his infectious personality and leadership in our locker room this season.”

Hall, a 6-1, 295-pound native of Cardondale, Illinois arrives in Toronto after spending the last two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In 33 career regular season games, 25 of which he started, Hall racked up 73 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles, seven quarterback sacks, four tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one blocked kick and eight pass knockdowns with the Ticats.

“2016 is shaping up to be a big year for the Toronto Argonauts and I’m excited to be a part of it. I can’t wait to get to training camp to start our journey towards the 104th Grey Cup and especially kickoff the season in our new home, BMO Field, on June 23.” -Bryan Hall

Prior to making his CFL debut in 2014, the Arkansas State product spent three seasons with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens where he won a Super Bowl Championship in 2012. In four seasons at Arkansas State, Hall compiled 124 defensive tackles (70 solo, 24 assisted), 31 tackles for a loss, 18 quarterback sacks, four fumbles forced and an interception with the Red Wolves.
