Argos Sign Adams And Marah

MISSISSAUGA – The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to announce that imports WR Darvin Adams and DL/LB Mohammed Marah have signed with the team.

Adams played college football at Auburn University where he set single season school records in both receiving yards (997) and receptions (60) during his sophomore year. As a Tiger, he caught passes from Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton and was a member of the school’s 2011 BCS Championship squad. Upon declaring his draft eligibility following his junior year, Adams played two games for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. He was most recently a member of the Virginia Destroyers of the UFL.  

A pure athlete, Marah attended San Jose State where, during his 4 years, he played a combination of linebacker, running back and defensive end.  Mohammed majored in health science and was a three-time San Jose State Scholar-Athlete and Academic ALL-WAC honouree. He most recently attended training camp with the NFL’s San Diego Chargers.
