Zach is the son of Dean and Michelle Collaros. He attended Steubenville High School in Steubenville, Ohio where he played football. Throughout high school Zach compiled a 41-1 record in three years as the starting quarterback. Zach broke every Big Red passing record on his way to a 30-0 mark and back-to-back state titles over his final two years. At Cincinnati, Zach majored in Pre-Accounting.
