2011: Attended Toronto Argonauts training camp but was released as a final cut.

2009: Attended Detroit Lions (NFL) Mini-Camp in May but was not signed.

2008: Did not play football.

2007: Signed by the Chicago Bears (NFL) on February 9…Assigned to the Rhein Fire (NFLE) during the offseason…Released on May 23.

2006: Signed by the Miami Dolphins (NFL) as a free agent and added to the club’s practice squad on September 3…Released on September 5.

Gerald Riggs Jr. is the son of 3-Time Pro-Bowler and 10-year NFL veteran Gerald Riggs Sr. His brother Cody is a cornerback for the Florida Gators. Gerald attended Red Bank H.S. where he set all-time football and track records.
