2011: Dressed in 3 regular season games with three (3) starts for Toronto…Attended training camp with Tulsa…Released by the Talons in February…Weeks 1-3, Added to Argos’ PR…Week 4, Made CFL debut and first career CFL start (23/07/11) at WR in home opener loss vs. Winnipeg…Caught 3 passes for 48 yards, LG 22, and his first career TD from QB Dalton Bell…Week 5, Started at WR in loss at Edmonton…Caught 3 passes for 17 yards…Weeks 6-13, Added to Argos’ PR…Week 14, Started at WR and played KR in loss vs. Hamilton…Left game with knee injury…Week 15, Added to 9-game injured list with torn ACL.

2010: Signed as a free agent with Tulsa Talons (AFL) in November.

Sammy played four seasons (2006-09) at Seton Hill University after transferring from Edward Waters College…Finished his career with 136 receptions for 1,896 yards and 18 touchdowns, 55 punt returns for 732 yards and 5 touchdowns, and 124 kickoff returns for 2,752 yards and 2 touchdowns…Holds multiple school records including single game receptions (9), single game receiving yards (165), single season receiving yards (865), single season receptions (63), career receptions (136), and Sammy holds all school records for returns (kick and punt)…2009 CDS Division II Preseason All-American Team…2008 Co-Specialist of the Year by Don Hansen's Football Gazette, third All-American wide receiver on the Hansen squad, Associated Press Little All-America Football Team as a third team all-purpose honoree, First Team Daktronics, Inc. Division II All-Super Region 1 Football Team, First Team All WVIAC…2007 All-Conference honourable mention as a kick returner.

Sammy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he attended Martin Luther King H.S. While there he started at Cornerback, Wide Receiver, and Kick/Punt returner, his sophomore through senior years. Sammy’s favourite food is Mandarin oranges, his favourite musician is Marvin Gaye, his favourite movie is Bamboozled, and his favourite TV Show is Martin.
