His numbers tie him for 2nd post passing touchdowns by an Argonauts player in a Grey Cup game as well as 4th for most passes attempted and completed by an Argonauts quarterback in a Grey Cup game.
2011: Signed an extension with Edmonton on January 22, 2011…Named Eskimos’ nominee for Most Outstanding Player for the sixth time in his career as voted by the Edmonton chapter of the Football Reporters of Canada…Threw for more than 4,000 yards in a season for sixth time in his career…Surpassed the 40,000 career passing yards in the 2nd to last game of the season…Started 18 games and registered 343 completions in 526 attempts (65.2%) for 4,594 yards and 24 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions…Rushed 41 times for 258 yards (longest 27) and a touchdown…CFL Offensive CFL Player of the Month for July and earned Offensive Player of the Week in Week 17 when he completed 17 of 29 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns, against the Argos, and added a touchdown on the ground on a nine-yard run…2011 Playoffs: Started West Semi-Final and completed 19 of 27 passes for 245 yards and a touchdown with 3 carries for 31 yards in win at home over Calgary…Started West Final and completed 21 of 40 for 297 yards and 2 touchdowns with 3 carries for 36 yards in loss vs. BC.

Ricky attended Shasta High School where he played football, baseball and basketball. He and his wife Allyson have one daughter, Chloe Samantha, who was born in March 2011. The family spends their off-season in California.
