Chad majored in sociology at Hawaii. He and his wife Rena have three children, Chad Jr., Areana and Sierra-Lynn, and are proud Christians. He attended Roosevelt High School in Honolulu where he was a three-sport letter winner. He enjoys golfing, going to the beach and playing video games.
