2010: Started 13 regular season games for the Eskimos then traded to Toronto and started four (4) regular season games for the Argos… Week 3, Named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Saskatchewan when he was 3-3 on field goals and punted nine times for 440 yards and two singles, accumulating 12 of the Eskimos' 20 points… Week 16, Started at K/P in win at Winnipeg…Punted 8 times for 299 yards, LG 40 (moved into sole possession of second place in Argos history for punting yards), was good on 2/2 field goal attempts (38 & 13 yards) and good on 3/3 converts… 2010 Playoffs Started at K/P in East Semi-Final win at Hamilton…Punted 12 times for 428 yards, 35.7 AVG, LG 44, was good on 3 of 3 field goals (32, 12 & 13) and hit his only convert attempt…Did not attempt a kickoff…Started at K/P in Eastern Final loss at Montreal… Punted 7 times for 293 yards, LG 53, had 3 kickoffs for 130 yards, LG 63, and was good on 3/3 field goals, LG 32.
2009: Started 17 games… Had 114 punts for 5054 yards (44.3 avg), 98 kickoffs for 5555 yards (56.7 avg) and is 28 of 37 (76%, Longest: 49) on field goals…Added five special teams tackles… Kicked a 49-yarder with less than a minute left in the game against Hamilton on August 29 to secure a win and earned Special Team Player of the Week…On Sept 20 in Saskatchewan, Ran seven yards for a first down on a fake punt and on Oct. 2 in Winnipeg he ran 31 yards on a fake punt…Was on the reserve list on Oct 30 due to injury…2009 Playoffs Started in West Semi-Final loss at Calgary…Had eight punts for 339 yards (42.4 avg) and five kickoffs for 340 yards (68.0 avg)…Two-for-two on field goals.
2008: Traded to Edmonton on the eve of training camp on May 31 in exchange for the Esks’ first round pick, fourth overall, (later traded to B.C. for LB James Yurichuk) in the 2009 CFL Draft and a conditional pick in the 2010 CFL Draft…Started 17 games, missed the final game of the season due to illness... Was good on 35 of 46 field goals (76.1%), LG 54, and accounted for 171 points… Good on all 48 convert atttmepts…Punted 103 times for 4,831 yards, 46.9 AVG, LG 75… Completed 1 pass for 19 yards on a fake punt, and rushed one time for 10 yards…Made 5 ST tackles…Had 77 kickoffs for 4,636 yards, AVG 60.2, LG 73…2008 Playoffs Dressed in East Semi-Final and East Final (crossover)…Was good on 2 of 4 FG attempts, LG 45, 5 of 5 converts and punted19 times for 865 yard, LG 63, AVG 45.5 with a single…Had 9 kickoffs for 461 yards, LG 62, AVG 51.2.
2007: Nominated as an All-Time Argo at both punter and kicker…Started 17 regular season games for Toronto at kicker/punter, missing 1 game due to concussion…Week 1, left the game in the second quarter after suffering an injury on a blocked punt, replaced by S Chris Hardy. Averaged 49.0 yards on three punts and scored a single on a missed field goal…Week 4, averaged more than 50 yards on 9 punts versus Calgary…Week 8, hit two field goals including a 52-yard boot to conclude the first half which matched a career-high long…Week 9, made good on 3 of 3 field goals and averaged season-high 53.4 yards on 7 punts in Labour Day win over Hamilton… Earned CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for the sixth time in his career…Week 12, had a great game, making good on all three field goals (LG 47) and punting for 198 yards including a deft coffin-corner that went out of bounds at Winnipeg’s 1-yard line…Earned Runner-Up CFL Canadian of the Week…Week 18, left game early with an injury, replaced by DB Chris Hardy in win at Saskatchewan…2007 Playoffs Started at P/K in East Final versus Winnipeg.

2005: Named Argos’ Outstanding Special Teams Player by the Toronto chapter of the FRC… Named East Division Most Outstanding Special Teams Player for first time in his career…Named East Division All-Star at Kicker and Punter…Played in all 18 regular season games… Week 1, started as kicker/punter, was 4 for 4 on FG attempts and surpassed Michael Clemons for fourth on the Argonauts all-time scoring list vs BC…Week 3, averaged 43.3 yards punting and surpassed Dick Shatto on the Argos all-time scoring list by hitting 2 of 3 FGs…Week 5, hit 2 FGs for a total of 84 yards in win at Montreal…Named Special Teams Player of the Week for his play against both Montreal and Winnipeg…Week 7, made good on a 50-yard field goal…Week 15, made good on 4 of 4 FG attempts including the game winner despite 61 km/h winds in Winnipeg… Week 16, hit 4 of 5 field goal attempts including one from 50-yards at the end of the first half in win at Olympic Stadium in Montreal, named 2nd Runner-Up Special Teams Player of the Week…Week 18, started at P/K and also played holder for backup Chris Hardy’s field goal attempt in final regular season game at Ottawa… 2005 Playoffs Started at P/K in East Championship versus Montreal.
2004: Re-signed with Toronto on February 2….Named the Argos’ Special Teams Player of the Year as voted by the FRC, also recognized as an East Division All-Star at both Kicker and Punter and a CFL All-Star at Punter…Named CFLPA CFL All-Star at Punter and CFLPA East Division All-Star at both punter and kicker…Led the league in punting average (45.9)…Played 17 games as P/K for the Argos…Week 3, hit longest FG of the season 47-yards and set a new Argo record for punts in a game when he punted 16 times for 744 yards and 1 single…Week 5, moved into 3rd in Argo record book for most kickoffs in a career (passing Lance Chomyc who totalled 347)… Week 9 at Montreal, completed a 21 yard pass to Mike Palmer on a fake punt for a first down in the 2nd quarter… Week 14 in Winnipeg, kicked longest punt of season, 84-yards…Week 17, was perfect against BC hitting 6 of 6 field goal attempts (LG 42), punting 7 times for 320 yards (LG 55, 45.7 AVE), and recording 7 kickoffs for 366 yards (LG 58, 52.3 AVE), he also made 1 ST tackle and was named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week…Week 19, started the game as P/K and punted 1 time for 55 yards, had 4 kickoffs for 209 yards (LG 61) and was 0 for 1 on field goals snapping a six game streak where he made 16 consecutive FG attempts (Argo Record), left the game with a hip injury and was replaced by Chris Hardy vs Hamilton at SkyDome… 2004 Playoffs Boomed punts all night, kicking 10 for 507 yards (AVG 50.7, LG 70), hit 3 of 4 field goal attempts (LG 47) and had 3 kickoffs for 161 yards (AVG 53.6) in East Semi-Final vs Hamilton, named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for his effort…Put in solid effort at East Championship in Montreal where he kicked 10 punts for 400 yards (LG 48), added 4 kickoffs for 215 yards (LG 64) and was good on his only field goal attempt from 16 yards…Grey Cup Championship Started at P/K and punted 6 times for 240 yards (LG 53), had 6 kickoffs for 328 yards (LG 61) and was good on 2 of 3 field goal attempts (LG 27) in win vs BC.
2003: Named East Division All-Star and CFL All-Star at Punter… Led the East Division in punting yards (5484) and led the CFL with 46.9 punting average, 5 yards more per punt than any other player…Signed with the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL) in January, but returned in time for week 2 vs Hamilton…played in 17 regular season games….Week 7, had 4 punts for 204 yards, 7 kick-offs for 425 yards…Also booted 7 FG tying an Argo record for the most FG in a single regular season game…Week 11, booted 4 FG, 6 punts for 315 yards, and 2 kick-offs for 118 yards. 2003 Playoffs In the East Semi-Final, he had 6 punts for 272 yards, 6 kickoffs for 319 yards and connected on two of 3 FG attempts…Hit 1 of 2 FG attempts in East Championship and added 8 punts for 341 yards and 5 kickoffs for 286 yards.
2002: Earned East Division and CFL All-Star status at Punter…Finished 2nd in the league in punting average at 46.1 …Also took on field goal kicking duties…Most important kick of the year came in the Argos’ last game of the season when he nailed a 42-yard game-winning FG at home with 27 seconds remaining against Calgary to earn the team’s first playoff berth in three years… 2002 Playoffs Perfect in the post-season, going 5 for 5 with a long of 44 yards against both Saskatchewan and Montreal.
2001: Spent time with three teams in three different pro leagues in a busy year…Returned to the Argonauts in time for their game on August 25 against Saskatchewan after requesting his release from the Baltimore Ravens with whom he signed as a free agent earlier in the year…In his return performance with the Argos he had 2 kickoffs for 114 yards and 10 punts for 462 yards against the Roughriders…Began the year with the Los Angeles Extreme…Played in 10 games with Los Angeles during the regular season…Along with being their punter was also listed as the team’s third quarterback… April 21 in the one and only championship game in XFL history had 1 punt for 21 yards while Los Angeles beat the San Francisco Demons 38-6 for the title.
2000: Territorial draft pick of the Los Angeles Extreme (XFL) on November 28…Third year Argo veteran had another spectacular season in the CFL…Earned both East Division and CFL All-Star at Punter…Played 18 games.
1999: Named East Division’s All-Star and CFL All-Star at Punter …Led CFL in punting with 47.7 average…Named the CFL Special Teams Player of the Week for first time in his career for his efforts against Calgary (9/10/99)recording 11 punts for a 46.5 average as well as 4 kickoffs for a 57.3 average and also completed a 29 yard pass to Duane Dmytryshyn on a fake punt…1999 Playoffs Punted 10 times for a 35 yard average in the East Division semi-final playoff game in Hamilton on November 14, also had 2 kickoffs for a 46.5 average.
1998: Selected by the Argonauts in 6th round of the 1998 Supplemental Draft…. Named an East Division All Star at Punter for the first time in his career…Finished 2nd in the CFL in punting with a 46.7 average…Made Argo/CFL debut, he recorded an impressive 47.9 yard average on 10 punts including a 79 yard single regular season opener vs Sask…Also had 2 singles on missed FG… Was 4 for 4 on FG in home opener vs Calgary July 9, also averaged 52.3 yards per punt on 6 punts including a whopping 75 yarder out of the Argos end zone…Voted the teams’ top special teams player of the game for his effort … Used strictly for punting and kickoff duties for first time (13/08/98)…Kicked 86 yard single vs Montreal…Played in his first CFL playoff game on November 8 in Montreal and averaged 45 yards on 6 punts.
Started two years at San Diego State University…earned first team All-American honours during his outstanding senior year…Also a first team All-WAC Pacific Division selection...Led to a number one NCAA ranking in net punting with a 44.9 average…Set a SDSU single season record with a 46 .5 punting average in 1996…During the year also set the school record for the longest single punt with a 82 yarder against New Mexico…Had an average of 43.0 yards per punt in 1995…Began his college career at Cal-State Fullerton in 1992.
A criminal justice major, “Pre” spent many of his early years growing up in Montreal. An outstanding athlete and quarterback during high school, Noel led El Camino High School to a 22-2 record and a CIF Championship as their starting quarterback. He was named San Diego Tribune Athlete of the Year for North County as a senior. Noel makes many community appearances, including playing with the Courtside Boatmen, the Argos charity basketball team. He likes to golf and play poker in his spare time. Pre lives in the Mississauga area with his wife Tanya, a teacher, their 3-year old son Noah, and their new baby boy Ethan, born in April.
