Have you done any volunteer/charity work?
I was with Girl Guides for about 12 years and
received my Canada cord. "Lend a Hand" is a Guiding motto and thus
community events were many. We would rake leaves for the elderly
people, do BBQ's for local events like baseball banquets "which in Ajax
is a BIG thing", Fathers Day pancake breakfasts, on "Earth Day" plant
trees and mark the drainage sewers with "Yellow Fish" and of course
mentor the young "Sparks" as they came up the ranks. I was also asked
to return to my high school and Coach the Cheerleading squad for the
past two years. Now being with the Argos there are just so many
charities they are involved in that its impossible not to be apart of
some, if not all of them.

What it means to be a member of the Blue Thunder to me...
It means that you get to do what you love in front of
thousands of fans who you love performing for. You get to be the person
the crowd and the team depend on for support and use your talents to
entertain and keep the spirits up even if the team is loosing. It's
something I wish every young woman could experience because it gives
you confidence and you can feel the level of the crowd even before you
get on the field which makes you feel needed out there
