2007: Signed with the Edmonton Eskimos as a free agent on May 24 and attended training camp before being dealt to Toronto…Dressed in one pre-season game and 6 regular season games for the Argos, starting 2 at SB…Missed 11 games with an ankle injury…Week 1, made his CFL debut (28/06/07) as a starting WR versus B.C...Week 2, recorded 3 catches for 55 yards before leaving the game in the second half with an ankle injury...Week 10, returned to the lineup at SB and caught his first TD as an Argo (08/09/07) as he finished with 3 receptions for 70 yards in win over Hamilton… Week 14, placed on the IR for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury…2007 Playoffs Did not dress in East Final due to injury.
2006: Did not play football.
2005: Re-signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent on September 20…Played in 6 games for the Ravens as a receiver, catching 2 passes for 31 yards.
2004: Signed with the Cincinnati Bengals (NFL) on March 20…Attended training camp with the club but was placed on the injured/reserve list on August 30…Released by Cincinnati on September 3.
2003: Signed as a free agent with the Washington Redskins (NFL) on March 10…Played in all 16 games for Washington, generating 15 receptions for 170 yards and 1 touchdown (31 LG)…Also lined up at kick and punt returner, returning 13 kickoffs for 310 yards and 3 punts for 17 yards.
2002: Signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL) on March 18…Played in 9 games for with the Jaguars, making 9 catches for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns.
2001: Dressed as a receiver for 4 games, recording 5 receptions for 57 yards and 1 touchdown…Also had 2 kick returns for 39 yards…Dressed as a receiver in Super Bowl XXXV and caught 1 pass for 8 yards in a win over the New York Giants.
2000: Dressed in 12 games as a receiver, recording 12 receptions for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns…He also ran the ball 2 times for 21 yards.
1999: Dressed in 10 games for the Ravens, making 29 receptions for 526 yards and 3 touchdowns…Also added 1 carry for 12 yards.
1998: Drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2nd round (42nd overall) in the 1998 NFL Draft… Signed contract with the Ravens on June 24…Played in 13 games, making 12 receptions for 159 yards and 1 touchdown…Also added 16 kickoff returns for 399 yards and 1 touchdown.
Attended the University of Oregon where he was a two-sport athlete, competing in both football and track…While with the Ducks, he played with current Argos Michael Fletcher and Kenny Wheaton as well as fellow CFL’ers Jason Mass and Davis Sanchez…Started 20 games for the Ducks over four years as a wide receiver…Finished his career among the top receivers in school history with 3,844 all-purpose yards…Finished ranked eighth on the school’s all-time receiving list with 110 catches and 1,919 yards…After his senior season in 1997, he earned second-team All-Pac 10 honours as both a receiver and return specialist…He also played in the Rose Bowl (1995), Cotton Bowl (1996) and the Las Vegas Bowl (1997)…Named Offensive MVP in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Patrick has a pet Doberman Pinscher named Laila. His favourite actor is Forrest Whitaker and lists his favourite food as loaded baked potatoes. An Olympic-calibre sprinter, Johnson was one of the top sprinters in the nation while at Oregon, winning the Pac-10 Championships in the 400m as a freshman. As a senior at Redlands High School (Redlands, CA), he was California State Champion in both the 100m and 200m. In 1994, he won a silver medal representing the USA at the World Juniors in Lisbon. He majored in Journalism and Communications at Oregon.
