Head Coach, Argos Cheerleaders

A gifted dancer and choreographer, Jorie Brown returns to the Toronto Argonauts as the Head Coach of the Argos Cheerleaders for the 2010 season. A graduate of York University, Jorie was an Argos cheerleader from 2002-2005 before joining the Raptors Dance Pak for several seasons.  Trained in all facets of dance, her love for dance began at a young age.   Jorie is currently a VJ on BPM TV, Canada's first and only dance channel.  She is the host of her own music request show called "Back @ Ya!" that can be seen daily. 

Jorie's true passion, other than cheering on the Double Blue, is her love of teaching.  She is a mentor to over 100 competitive and recreational students at AB Dance in Markham, Ontario. As a teacher and choreographer, she has produced many award-winning competitive routines.  Other choreography credits include the Mississauga Ice Dogs Dance Team, the York University Dance Team, Bell Mobility, and the Toronto Fire Fighters.  Television and performance credits include The Canadian Urban Music Awards, A Chorus Line at the St. Lawrence Centre, NBA XL and Dance Moves, The Ultimates, The Best and Worst of 2008 and 2009, Spotlight- K-OSS all on BPM TV.

Jorie’s innovative choreography and infectious personality make her the perfect Head Coach for the 2010 Argos Cheerleaders.
