2006: Signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFL) on May 24…Attended training camp and released on September 9.
2005: Re-signed with Miami on May 18…Attended training camp and played in five games with the Dolphins…Placed on the injured reserve list on November 8…Finished season with 4 catches for 80 yards.
2004: Traded to the Miami Dolphins (NFL) from San Diego on March 18 in exchange for CB Jamar Fletcher and a sixth round choice (OT Wes Sims) in the 2005 NFL Draft...Sustained a season-ending injury during a training camp scrimmage on August 6 and placed on the IR on August 30.
2003: Signed as a free agent with the San Diego Chargers (NFL) on March 7…Started 14 games…Finished second on the team with 70 receptions for a team-leading 880 yards and seven touchdowns…Added 18 rushing yards on three attempts.
2002: Started all eight games he was active for with Arizona….Caught 32 passes for 512 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 29 yards on two attempts…Placed on the injured reserve list with a knee injury and released following the season.
2001: Started all 16 games with Arizona…Led the NFL in receiving with 98 catches for 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns…Set the club record for single-season receiving yards…Voted to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career... At 23-years and four months he became the second-youngest receiver in NFL history to record 1,500-plus receiving yards in a season…Became the youngest Cardinal to record consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons…Reached the 1,000-yard plateau in just 10 games, tying Roy Green (1984) for the fastest to attain that mark in club history…His ninth 100-yard-receiving game of the season set a new Cardinals single-season record.

1999: Selected in the 1st round (8th overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL Draft…Teamed up with Jake Plummer for all four years in Arizona…Started seven of the 16 games as a rookie… Started in NFL debut on (12/09/99) vs Philadelphia…caught 40 passes for 473 yards…Had his first 100-yard game as a rookie (10/10/99) vs NY Giants, caught 8 passes for 101 yards.

David majored in sociology and has a daughter named Alaia and a son named Jaylen. He enjoys working out and travelling, as well as books written by Frank Netter who is one of the world’s foremost authorities on human anatomy.
