Number of years as an Argonauts Cheerleader: 3
Where is your hometown/where do you currently live? I currently live in Markham, which is part of York Region.
Please describe your favourite moment as an Argos Cheerleader. My favorite moment is not really a moment, but an aspect of the team that I really enjoy. I love being a member of the Argonauts family because of their community involvement. One of the programs that I stand by, and truly believe in, is Huddle Up Against Bullying. My first year on the team, I was given the opportunity to travel to different schools and speak to children about the necessity for fellowship and kindness towards others. It was such a rewarding experience, and the children were so receptive and attentive to what I had to say. I suppose that was the first time I realized the impact I could have on a child's life. It was through this program that I understood this very important point: being a member of the Argos Cheerleading Team means being a role model to young children. Knowing that, I am constantly striving for my personal best so that fans, especially young fans, will see that I, being a cheerleader, a young woman and a Canadian, am as much a part of them as they are a part of me.
What has been your most embarrassing moment? This past winter, I contracted a bad cold. I was sitting with a friend eating lunch, when I suddenly had to sneeze. I did not have time to cover my mouth, so I spat all over both of our plates. She had to throw her food out. I felt so bad.
10 years from now I’ll be… In ten years, I will be a journalist.
My ‘perfect’ day would consist of… My perfect day would be one spent at a tropical beach resort, where I could lay in a chair, blanketed by the sun's warmth, listening to the pristine waters crash in front me.
Something no one knows about me is… I love to sing.
Anything else you’d like to tell fans about yourself? I am excited for the upcoming season, and I cannot wait to meet and interact with the fans, as well as perform for them.
