Why did you audition to be an Argos Cheerleader? Dancing has always been a big part of my life, and I wanted to continue my dance career after I graduated university. The Argos Cheerleaders combine dancing and being part of the community - two unique and amazing opportunities that attracted me right away. To be able to join such a talented group of women is an amazing experience.
What has been your most embarrassing moment? I was dancing through a grocery store and I must have been really in the groove, because I did not see the giant pole in the middle of the aisle. I turned around for a big final move and smack...face first right into the pole. There was no way to pretend like it did not happen, so I just kept on dancing as the other people in the aisle quietly laughed. My mom and I had a good laugh as I iced down my face.
10 years from now I’ll be… 10 years from now I will be a confident and talented reporter or anchor. I will be delivering your daily news or your sports news every day, keeping you up-to-date. I will be dazzling Canada and hopefully the rest of the world with my reporting skills! My back up plan...being fabulous somewhere and doing something that connects me to the world!
My ‘perfect’ day would consist of… It would have to consist of: starting the day with a breakfast of eggs, bacon and pancakes, flying to somewhere tropical for the day and relaxing on a beach, and finally flying back to Toronto and dancing the night away with friends.
Something no one knows about me is… I am a huge nerd. I love reading, writing news or sports stories, highlighters, and sticky notes! Give me something to analyze and some highlighters, and I am in my glory.
Anything else you’d like to tell fans about yourself? I am very fortunate to be surrounded by an incredibly supportive family. My mom and dad work so hard on a daily basis to make sure my siblings and I have every opportunity in the world. My brother and sister are always inspiring me. I am truly blessed to have them in my life.
