Chad recently bought a house in Oakville with his wife, Krista, who he married this off-season. He currently owns a Booster Juice franchise in his hometown of Saskatoon. This off-season, Chad acquired his Real Estate license, with plans to open his own brokerage with teammate Jeff Johnson. Chad is also an active member of the Courtside Boatmen, the Argos charity basketball team. Chad was the starting quarterback for the Salisbury Sabres in 1997 and 1998, the last time they competed for a provincial title.
