The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to welcome DB T.J. Williams to the team.

Tyres Williams Jr. comes to the Argonauts as a defensive back after playing both receiver and defensive back in high school, college and the Arena Football League. The Valdosta State graduate played 10 games and caught six touchdowns in his only year there in 2008. Since then, he’s both ways for the Manchester Wolves, Sioux City Bandits and Tulsa Talons of the AFL. He most recently attended a mini-camp with the New York Jets, which happens to be the team his brother, Antonio Cromartie, stars for in the NFL.  

The club also announced that it has acquired a conditional pick in the 2014 CFL Canadian Draft from Saskatchewan in exchange for import OT Chris Patrick.
