The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the club has signed NIP receiver Josh Bishop to the practice roster and released IMP defensive back Joshua Abrams.

A Wilfrid Laurier graduate, Bishop played four seasons (2006-2009) for the Golden Hawks, totalling 1,225 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns and was named 2nd team OUA All-Star in 2008. Bishop signed a practice roster agreement with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2010 before being released last week at the end of training camp.

Abrams played five games, starting one at DB, for the Argos in 2010 after joining the club as a free agent.  He recorded six defensive tackles and one special teams tackle.
