Argonauts add DB Sweeting to practice roster

The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has added international defensive back Roderick Sweeting to the team’s practice roster.

Sweeting, a 6-0, 187-pound native of Miami, Florida, joins the Argos after stints with four NFL clubs, including the New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. In his 2013 rookie campaign with the Saints, Sweeting recorded three total tackles.

The 2012 Hyundai Sun Bowl MVP played four seasons at Georgia Tech, setting a school record for games played (54) while recording 160 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, one quarterback sack and five interceptions for the Yellow Jackets.
