The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has released national defensive lineman Brian Bulcke.

Bulcke, who was signed as a free agent by the club on February 11, registered one tackle in his lone game with the Boatmen after missing the first six games of the season on the injured list.

The 29-year old lineman arrived in Toronto with five years of CFL experience, three of which were spent with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In 27 starts with the Ticats, the native of Windsor, Ontario, posted 41 defensive tackles, one tackle for a loss, five quarterback sacks and three fumble recoveries.

Bulcke missed the entire 2015 regular season with a knee injury suffered during last year’s training camp.
