The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has added international quarterback Dan Lefevour to the practice roster.

Lefevour, a 6-3, 229-pound native of Downers Grove, Illinois, joins the Argos with four years of CFL experience, including three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2012-14) and one with the Montreal Alouettes (2015). In 43 games for the Tiger-Cats, four of which he started, Lefevour racked up 1,670 passing yards and five touchdowns on 66.8% passing, adding another 631 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

The Central Michigan product has also spent time in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and most recently, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 2007 and 2009 MAC Offensive Player of the Year is the all-time conference leader in both completions (1,171) and passing yards (12,905). His 149 total touchdowns scored for the Chippewas ranks second all-time in NCAA history.
