Argos Add Kyler Elsworth to Practice Roster

The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has added international linebacker Kyler Elsworth to the practice roster.

Elsworth, a 6-1, 230-pound native of Goodrich, Michigan, played in ten games for the Montreal Alouettes in 2015, registering 50 total tackles, one tackle for a loss, four sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble returns, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

Prior to the CFL, the 24-year old linebacker spent five seasons at Michigan State after walking on with the team in 2009. The Defensive MVP of the 100th Rose Bowl in 2014 finished his Spartans career with 73 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, and three sacks.

The Argonauts also announced today that the club has released international linebacker Kevin Brown from the practice roster.
