The Toronto Argonauts announced today that the team has signed international receiver and kick returner Larry Taylor.

Taylor, a 5-6, 177-pound native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, joins the Argos as a seven-year CFL veteran after spending four seasons (2008-10, 2014) with the Montreal Alouettes and three seasons (2011-13) with the Calgary Stampeders.

Entering his eighth CFL season, the University of Connecticut product has returned a total of 242 kickoffs for 5,235 yards, 358 punts for 3,123 yards and three touchdowns, and 23 missed field goals for 1,015 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor has also hauled in 46 passes for 359 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his career.

Taylor has twice been recognized as a CFL All-Star (2009, 2013) and has earned a Divisional All-Star nomination three times (2009, 2011, 2013). The 2009 CFL Most Outstanding Special Teams Player played an integral part in the Montreal Alouettes run to the 97th Grey Cup Championship.
