Argos sign WR Wallace Miles, OL Davonte Wallace

The Toronto Argonauts announced today that they have signed international receiver Wallace Miles and international offensive lineman Davonte Wallace.

Miles, a 6-1, 195-pound native of Atlanta, Georgia, has spent time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Ottawa Redblacks, and most recently, the Edmonton Eskimos. In 23 CFL games over four seasons, the product of North Carolina A&T has recorded 82 receptions for 1,056 yards and six touchdowns. Miles played in 40 games at North Carolina A&T, where he holds the school’s single-season receptions and receiving yards records, posting the only 1,000-yard receiving season in school history during his 2011 senior year.

Wallace, a 6-3, 308-pound native of El Paso, Texas, most recently spent time with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins. The New Mexico State product played in 37 games in four seasons with the Aggies. The two-time second-team All-WAC selection in 2012 and 2013 became the New Mexico State’s first offensive lineman to receive All-Conference honours in back-to-back seasons since the 2003-04 campaigns
