Argos Draft Brian Jones fourth overall

With the fourth overall pick in the 2016 CFL Draft, the Toronto Argonauts have selected Acadia University receiver Brian Jones.

In four seasons at Acadia, he hauled in 113 passes for 1,392 yards and eight touchdowns with the Axemen. In 2015, he led the Axeman with 45 catches for 630 yards and four touchdowns en route to being named a 2015 second-team CIS All-Canadian and honoured as an AUS All-Star for the second time. He was also named the AUS’s Most Outstanding Player in 2014.

Awards: 2015 second-team CIS All-Canadian, 2x AUS All-Star, 2014 AUS Most Outstanding Player of the Year, 2012 Jewett Cup (AUS Championship) Winner
