Argonauts to host inaugural game at BMO Field on June 23 followed by home games during the CNE & on Thanksgiving Monday
The Canadian Football League released the 2016 CFL schedule today.
The Argonauts will kick off the 2016 CFL season and begin their quest for the 104th Grey Cup championship when they host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on June 23, 2016 in their new home, the newly renovated BMO Field.
To begin this new era of Argonauts football in Toronto, the 2016 schedule features a new variety of summer week nights, weekends and holiday weekends. Week night games will start at 7:30 pm, and weekend and holiday games at 4pm and 4:30pm, allowing for fans to experience the incredible new pre-game experiences to be launched this season.
In addition, Argos fans will be able to rekindle one of the great traditions of the past with two games, Saturday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 31, scheduled during the Canadian National Exhibition, and the Labour Day Rematch returns at what promises to be a loud and proud BMO Field when the Argos host the Ticats on Sunday, September 11.

Those who have yet to secure their seat to the Argonauts inaugural season at BMO Field by placing down a $50 deposit still have the opportunity to do so until tomorrow, Friday, February 19 at 4pm before 2016 Argos Season Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, March 1. Argos fans have the opportunity to select from 13 affordable in-bowl seating options as well as a variety of premium seating clubs and lounges. 2016 Argos Season Ticket Holders are guaranteed the right to purchase tickets to the 104th Grey Cup at BMO Field before they go on sale to the general public.
