MISSISSAUGA–The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is pleased to welcome import QB Ricky Santos. Santos, who has signed through 2013, has joined his new teammates at practice this morning on the upper field at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
Santos comes to the Argonauts after a two-year stint with the Montreal Alouettes and is already familiar with Scott Milanovich’s offensive philosophy having learned under him while in Montreal. At 28 years old, Santos first joined the Alouettes in 2008 and has also been a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. As a member of the New Hampshire Wildcats of the NCAA, he set a number of school and conference records and was a teammate of current Argos running back Chad Kackert in 2006 and 2007.
The Argonauts also announced that WR Jarmon Fortson has been added to the suspended list.
