Years on the team: Rookie
Birthday: August 4
Favourite Argos memory: The first time I stepped out onto the field and heard all of the fans cheering. It was an amazing feeling.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I am a very active and social person, so anything that involves exercise or hanging out with friends is what I enjoy doing.
How do you stay in shape in the off-season? I am proud to say I adore going to the gym. I feel strange if I miss a gym day. As well, I think that eating balanced meals and controlling portions is the key to staying healthy and in shape.
When did you start dancing/cheerleading? I started dancing at age 5. I trained competitively in jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap, lyrical, and acrobatics.
What inspired you to tryout for the Argos Cheerleaders? This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. The mother of one of my friend’s was a cheerleader for the Argonauts and I remember thinking how amazing it would be to be a part of the Argos Cheerleaders.
If you could make one dream come true, what would it be? To complete my education and work in a high profile hospital so that I can help others have a better quality of life.
What are you most excited about regarding the 100th Grey Cup? Seeing the Argonauts win the Grey Cup, of course! Being involved in the celebration will be awesome. I think Toronto and the rest of Canada is going to be shocked and excited to see what’s in store this fall!
Players often have pre-game routines, what’s your pre-game routine? Listening to music in the change room really helps get me pumped up for the game; it helps take away the nerves!
Where do you see yourself in five years? Definitely still cheering for the Argonauts and continuing in some capacity to be involved in dance. I am planning to complete a Masters Degree in Nutrition and obtain Dieticians of Canada certification.
What or who is your greatest inspiration? My older brother. He has accomplished so much at such a young age, both academically and socially. He demonstrates just how much hard work can be rewarding.
